I have an unconventional career path, from journalism, to consulting, to payment strategies at a big bank, to content and comms at a high-growth SaaS start-up. Having soft skills like critical thinking, creative problem solving, and a learning mindset allowed me the agility to get up to speed quickly, regardless of role. Each pivot provided new perspectives and learnings, and taught me how to operate within ambiguity, learn on-the-fly in fast-paced environments, and appreciate being surrounded by a competent team.
